The CT Action Committee for Developmental Disabilities Systems Change (CAC)

After the Commission finished the work, and given the outcome, it became clear that we needed to establish an even stronger, more far-reaching coalition, and that this coalition would advocate for services. We went on to establish CAC, (Connecticut Action Committee For Developmental Disability Systems Change); this is a separate entity from ASRC and is chaired by one of our Co-Directors: Lois Rosenwald. The groups' focus is to educate the public and state officials as to the need for services, and therefore, bring about legislation to put these services in place. The groups' members are from the Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disabilities communities, as well as from the Independent Living Centers in Connecticut. If you have interest in participating in this group, please contact Lois Rosenwald at ASRC. We need your involvement to make this happen. We will continue to work toward our goal, never stopping until services are in place!
